Another chance God gave me to tell someone about him

Hi again everyone,
on Friday God gave me another great chance to talk about him.
In RME we're talking about Anne Frank. We've only just started so at one point we were talking about when she had to leave her home to go into hiding. She couldn't take a suitcase because that would make it to obvious so she could only take her schoolbag.

Then we had to pick 5 things we would take if we had to go into hiding.

One of the things I picked was my Bible. The girl who was sitting next to me looked at mine and noticed so she said to me in almost a scoffing way, "are you taking a Bible?"
Now normally I just ignore it when people try to make comments about me being a Christian but this time I just answered "yeah, why not?"
She didn't answer my question but decided to ask me another. "Do you read the Bible Every Day?"
I told her I did and she said to me "does your Mum make you read it?"
I guess she was thinking at this point, "why would anyone want to read the Bible?" so she kept asking questions like "does your Mum read it too" or " do you all read it together"

by the end of this conversation I was really thankful to God for giving me that chance because I'm pretty sure that she learned a bit about what being a Christian really is.
